Favorite Baby Boutique

I love shopping for clothes for my girl. I could probably say I have a problem with it...but someday H will appreciate it! (her daddy, not so much) As much as I loved shopping for her, I quickly found myself annoyed at all the "usual" themed outfits. I was tired of unicorns, cats, bunnies....and so on..

I was tired of seeing all the same outfits...all the time...in all the stores...on all the babies...

I started looking online for boutiques, there are sooo many online. But I really wanted one that I could not only shop online, but also go to in person to really get a feel for sizes and products before spending $$ on them.

I found the best of both worlds when I came across Peek-A-Bootique! I fell in love instantly. After looking at Facebook, I made a trip to Fort Wayne to shop in person. I LOVED IT!

Peek-A-Bootqiue has boys and girls boutique clothes starting at 0-3 month. There are soo many options and they are all so adorable and the best, affordable! You know you are getting the best quality products when shopping and you get great service too.

 Darlene makes this sooo fun! You can get all the outfits you love, at a lower price! Once she starts posting the options, you can comment your bid until she says "Deal" Some weeks I end up winning 10 things and some weeks I win none! But its a fun way to shop!

H's 1/2 Birthday!

How in the world am I even writing this post right now....s i x months. How did it go so fast?! H is half of a year old!

Our sweet girl is growing so quickly! It seems like just yesterday we were going home from the hospital with our tiny girl. 

H is 17lbs and 26.4 Inches long! She is starting to crawl-ish...she hasn't quite got it coordinated correct, but she. is. on. the. move! 

H is so fun to watch as she grows and learns new things. She loves to talk jibber-ish, loves sticking her foot in her mouth (+ as always, her hands too). She is loving finally getting to eat some baby food, although she still loves her bottles, she sometimes cries between each bite because we can't get the food to her mouth fast enough......d r a m a t i c , I know. :)

H loves visiting with her family. She is always smiling and laughing. She really has a fondness of her Puppy Pepper and pulling her hair. (Luckily, Pepper is wonderful with her and we never have to worry about it!)





Loves reading books at bed time, loves jumping in her bouncer, when she gets going we sometimes worry shes gonna jump out of!








She's got to go on a coffee date with Mama & Daddy. I had to keep her out of the coffee the whole time!





She got to experience her first fair week! She watched the horse shows & pig shows. It was so fun watching her watch the horse shows, she followed each and every horse through every pattern. The pig shows, she will have to warm up to those...I think the noise got to her. [lol]












We celebrated Austin's first Father's Day!  A simple day just hanging out together to celebrate the most important guy in both H and My life!




H also got her ears pierced this past month! She only cried a little bit, but Mama felt horrible but she looks adorable with them & she doesn't even notice them now! (Shout out to Taylor for holding her while she got it done! I promise I won't let H hold it against you! lol)

She went to her first wedding and watched Rylee & Braeden get married!






She went swimming for the first time & went to another TinCaps game!







Austin and I are truly so blessed with such a happy & fun baby. We love to watch her grow and learn, we can't wait to see what she has in store in the second half of her first year! It still seems impossible to be that she is 1/2 a year old! (I hope to have her 6 month photo shoot posted here soon on the blog!)

H: 4 Months

1 Month____________________________4 Month

How in the world is my girl 4 months already.....when they say you'll miss it if you blink, they aren't joking.



H is the sweetest and happiest babe. She is always laughing and smiling. She is wanting to be on the move so badly, every time you lay her on the floor she starts rolling and attempting to start scooting. She can somewhat stand on her own for a few seconds. (probably thanks to all those jumps she's doing in the bouncer) H loves being held and played with. She's not a fan of being alone or playing when we leave the room. (Although sometimes Pepper is good company for her)

Weighing in at 14lbs and 2oz and 26 inches long. She loves being outside, although too much rain has really put a damper on things like that.

She had her first overnight stay with her Aunt Casey. This was suppose to be a fun weekend away for Austin and I, but turned into an emergency room visit and surgery for a kidney stone for me! (UGHHH)
 

H celebrated her first Easter & got lots of stuff from the Easter Bunny & Her Grandparents. She got her first car & an adorable mermaid outfit.

 
We had our first family pictures taken since her newborn pictures. She didn't want to smile too much, it was just about nap time.

 

She loves going to Coffee Dates on Saturday mornings with her Momma & visiting with Taylor, T, S, Karena & H!   They don't know it yet, but H, H, & S are going to be besties.




H also celebrated her Nana Kathy's 50th birthday with her!




She makes all our lives so much fun & exciting. Everyday we are so blessed to see how much she grows & learns.
